Operator Certification

Through an Operator Certification Program, Sound Manufacturing has empowered operators to become an internal part of our quality management system.

The Operator Certification Program is designed to:

• Be implemented into daily practice. OCP is not just a one shot traditional “learning” workshop to increase knowledge. OCP is a long-term learning and implementation process.
• Strengthen the skills and knowledge participants need to be proficient in their jobs, in order to make accept / reject quality decisions.
• Reinforce and strengthen existing policy and procedures, not add another layer of new policy and procedures.

Virtek Laser Quality Inspections

We invest in quality. The addition of the Virtek Laser Quality Inspection System provides the capability to fully inspect flat parts as they come off the punches and lasers. Early detection of quality problems enables immediate, responsive corrective action. The Virtek also provides quality inspection reports.
